Quality Standard: The Group Standard Of "5A Physical Antibacterial Textiles" Issued By Guangdong Province

Recently, the group standard of 5A Physical Antibacterial Textiles (T/GDBX 073-2023), which was led by Guangdong Renkang Technology Co., Ltd., was approved by Guangdong Standardization Association and released and implemented on July 21, 2023.

According to the working process of standard preparation and revision, this standard was drafted by Renrenkang and Guangzhou Inspection Group in 2022. The project was set up in April 2023, and solicited public opinions from relevant units and relevant experts. Finally, Guangdong Standardization Association organized a symposium on 5A Physical Antibacterial Textiles to discuss the revision, improvement, release and implementation of the standard.

According to the person in charge of Guangdong Standardization Association, Guangdong Standardization Association has initially demonstrated its brand effect by "focusing on the market and innovation needs" and making efforts to do a good job in group standards. In recent years, it has attracted a large number of scientific research institutions and well-known large enterprises both inside and outside the province to actively apply to Guangdong Standards Association for project approval, leading or participating in the formulation and release of group standards of Guangdong Standards Association. This standard specifies the terms and definitions of 5A physical antibacterial textile performance evaluation, which is applicable to all kinds of textiles subject to physical antibacterial treatment according to basic requirements, antibacterial performance, test methods, judgment rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage. 5A physical antibacterial is a kind of pure physical means, such as photon broadband microwave quantum, which is used to process textiles to make them have antibacterial function.
