Jin Kai, President Of Huzhou Council For The Promotion Of International Trade, Was Invited To Participate In The Online Forum And Delivered A Speech
From February 1 to 5, the first online Textile Fair of Pakistan Trade Development Agency was held in both China and Pakistan on the Internet. During the exhibition, the China Pakistan textile cooperation online forum was solemnly held on February 4. Jin Kai, President of Huzhou Council for the promotion of international trade, was invited to participate in the online forum and delivered a speech.
President Jin Kai said that Pakistan has always been an important trade partner of Huzhou. In 2020, the total import and export volume between Huzhou and Pakistan will reach 870 million yuan, of which more than 60% of the import and export volume will be contributed by textile products. However, due to the impact of Xinguan epidemic, the import and export volume of textile products decreased compared with that in 2019.
President Jin Kai said that the textile industry is one of the three traditional industries in Huzhou. Huzhou is the birthplace of silk, an important production base of textile and clothing industry, and one of the important cities of green manufacturing. 2021 is the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan. It is hoped that through the platform of this online Expo, an effective communication bridge will be built for the textile industry of Huzhou and Pakistan, so as to promote the cooperation and exchange of textile industry between Huzhou and Pakistan.
