The monitoring covers commodity categories: eye protection desk lamps, children's food contact materials, children's toothbrushes, children's diapers, crayons, children's shoes, toys, infants and children's clothing, etc. the 123 batch of imported baby products imported from cross border electricity providers was monitored. The quality and safety of the products were 30 batches of GDA, with an unqualified rate of 24.39%.

The monitoring covers 14 electronic business platforms.

The customs examined many indicators of these commodities through physical and chemical experiments, and found that the unqualified rates of three kinds of merchandise, such as eye reading lamps, baby garments and toys, were very high, exceeding 40%, of which the rate of unqualified eye reading lamps was the highest, reaching 62.5%; the rate of passing the crayon colored mud and children's toothbrushes was between 10% and 20%; the unqualified rates of children's diapers and children's shoes were lower than those of 10%.

The Customs said that unqualified goods found in risk monitoring should be urged to dispose of unqualified goods and not enter the Chinese market, so that consumers can use safe and healthy products.

Next, the customs will focus on monitoring high-risk baby products according to daily risk monitoring data.

In the color of clothes, it is best to choose light cotton clothes, buy new clothes, wash them once again, and avoid wearing colors to cause harm to children's health.

Besides, the decorative sequins and bright pearls easily fall off in clothing, which can cause the risk of swallowing. Therefore, it is not recommended to buy such garments.
